YouTube app removed from iOS 6

The mobile operating system iOS 6, the release of which is expected this fall, will not contain a pre-installed application for viewing YouTube videos , which was present on the main page, starting with the very first iPhone.

Information about the lack of a YouTube application in iOS 6 appeared when Apple released a fourth beta version of the operating system for registered developers.
“Our license to enable the YouTube app on iOS has expired, and now customers can access the property through Safari or through the Google app in the App Store,” Apple said.
Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store.

It gradually becomes apparent that Apple is trying to get rid of the influence of the search giant Google. Earlier it became known that Apple will abandon the use of Google Maps in favor of its own service.

It remains to add that the ability to upload videos to YouTube from iOS 6 beta 4 is still present.
