Attack on Steve Mann for Augmented Reality Points
Foreword: Steve Mann (pictured left) is considered the father of augmented reality, for 34 years he has been wearing various versions of devices of his own design . Steve Mann began wearing the latest version of Digital Eye Glass with a simple design on a straight aluminum bow in 1999, and he also developed HDR (High Dynamic Range) computer vision algorithms for her .

Steve Mann in his blog spoke about a glaring incident that happened to him on July 1, 2012 in Paris, during a visit to McDonald’s at 140 Champs Elysees Avenue.
Knowing about possible problems with unauthorized shooting in the places of a common user, Steve Mann at the entrance to the McDonald's presented the employee with documentation on his glasses, as well as a letter from the doctor. An employee (hereinafter referred to as Possible Witness 1) examined the documents and agreed to let Steve and his family go to the fast food restaurant as visitors.
Steve's daughter paid for the order at the box office because she wanted to practice French, and the cashier (Possible Witness 2) praised her for her good knowledge of the language. They sat together at a table near the entrance, so that Steve could calmly watch passers-by through the window. At that moment, strange things began to happen: a certain person approached Steve Mann (Criminal 1) and began to angrily remove Digital Eye Glass from the scientist. But, since the device is firmly fixed, this cannot be done without special tools.
Then Criminal 1 dragged him to two other people, one of whom was sitting at the table (Criminal 2), and the second had a T-shirt with the company logo, as well as a broom and dustpan in his hands (Criminal 3). The scientist handed them the documentation and the letter of the doctor, but after studying the Offender 2 and Offender 1 tore the letter from the doctor and destroyed the documentation.
Steve Mann noticed that Criminal 1 had a badge attached to his belt - and looked at him, then Criminal 1 hastily closed the document with his hand, after which he dragged the scientist by force and pushed him out into the street.
Due to physical damage to the device (either a hit on the pavement or physical impact), the computer with augmented reality glasses stopped working, and therefore it could no longer record information. As a result, the last few minutes have remained in the device’s memory. In other words, having damaged the device, Criminal 1 thereby automatically took a picture of himself and his accomplices.

The scientist is asking the community to help get McDonald’s answer about this situation. He says that the police and the US embassy were unable to help, and appeals to McDonald's also failed. During the investigation, he only discovered a similar case of physical force being used against a girl at McDonald's when she took a picture of a menu.
