Evolution.

“Angels” untied our wings gave complete freedom in the formation of the concept of the project, not only before launch, but also some time after. Initially, we knew one thing about Tactoom - it would be a web platform for communication based on mutual interests. Not a social network, not a forum, but a universal way of communicating on different topics with different people, most importantly - on mutually interesting topics.
In less than 6 months, starting with the closed beta, Tactum has undergone evolution, turning from “we don’t know what” to:

1. Interest-based social blogging platform.

The bottom line is in one sentence: tags in your posts are at the same time other people's interests. Roughly speaking, the ability to write for the target audience is the default feature.

2. The service of middle blogs.

Yes, yes, this is what you thought is the middle between microblogging and classic blogs.

The middle blog at Tactoom is:

• Nothing more - the main features for blogging, including the ability to insert photos, audio and video into posts
• Short format news feed entries. The title, image preview and a minimum of text - all that is needed for a quick familiarization with the post
• Auto-loading link content as a finished post
• Minimalism and ease in the interface

Statistics.

I will say a little about the current statistics.
Registered users - 10.6 thousand;
The number of visits per day - from 500 to 1000;
Active users - about 3.5 thousand (logging in at least once every 2 weeks, while already logged in tactoom at least 3 times);
Partially active - 2.5 thousand (they enter at least once a month, while they have already visited tactoom at least 3 times);
From 40 to 100 people are registered per day (last month).

Plans.

At this stage, given that almost no one knows about tactoom, we are generally satisfied with the numbers. But now we will help increase the number of tokens :) So we are preparing the first advertising company. Among the audience of bloggers and active Internet users with a variety of interests.
Among the first plans are APIs and mobile applications.
After the first 100 thousand users, we will go to an English and German-speaking audience.
In general, there are many plans for the future, but they are adjusted depending on user activity.
In the meantime, we continue to create a social information platform based on interests and study feedback from bloggers. Propose an alternative for a considerable number of users of LiveJournal and Twitter - for those who are on the one hand too little, and on the other - too much)
