We are again opening the Siklum Saturday season in Kiev! Our last Siklum Java Subbotnik in the capital of Ukraine was a real success - 150 people visited it! Seeing such interest and taking into account the wishes to meet again, we decided to repeat :) and organize another useful and enjoyable event for everyone who is programming or is just about to start working in Java.

By tradition, we invite everyone to visit Siklum Java Saturday on February 11 for free in our Kiev office.


We have in our program:

• "How OSGI was implemented in EFG bank" - Fulco Houkes . Representative of EFG Bank (Switzerland), assistant Vice-President Software Architect-IT EFG Bank SA. Target audience: middle / senior developers / architectсs. Fulco will talk about introducing and using the new OSGI technology - a technology that is gaining more and more popularity in the Java community. The presentation will be in English;
• “IT Integration Solutions. ESB ”- Igor Azarny . Report target audience: senior developers / architects. In his presentation, Igor will examine the prerequisites for using ESB, give a brief overview of existing ESBs and make a small live demonstration of the integration capabilities of ESB / Igor is an architect in the Playtech / IMS team at Ciklum and has been working in IT for over 15 years. He has obtained certificates from Oracle certified master Java enterprise architect (SCEA / OCMJEA), Certified Oracle PL / SQL Developer, 10g Application Server administrator). Igor's professional interests are architecture, integration, e-commеrce;
• “Java Server. Inception ”- Dmitry Mayboroda (Senior Java developer in the ChartsNow team, Ciklum company). Target audience: Developers interested in Java SE. Dmitry will talk about how to start developing a RESTful server in Java using the Spring Framework. It will cover the most common questions about the development of Java server, as well as cover specific parts of the Spring Framework: Spring Core, Spring MVC and a little Spring Security;
• “Context and Dependency Injection in Java EE 6” - Elena Sirota . Java Lab Lead, EPAM Systems. Target audience: developers who want to learn about the CDI container. The talk is about the Inversion of Control container in Java EE 6 - Contexts and Dependency Injection. The presence of this container makes the Java EE platform even more convenient and easy to use. Elena has been working in IT for over 13 years. He has experience in developing enterprise systems in Java / Java EE, SQL / PLSQL, C ++. Area of ​​interest - corporate applications, integration solutions, IDM solutions. Elena received the degree of candidate of technical sciences in the field of information technology. Currently holds the position of the head of the Java laboratory at EPAM Systems and teaches at KPI.
