Sometimes people run into mice. Well, if this meeting is random and fleeting, but it happens that the mice like your home and they begin to consider it their own, and this is not entirely good for both. I have to reinvent the wheel ...
Option 1. MekhMag (mechanical, magnetic).
While serving as an officer, he rented a room in the attic in the private sector with a very good grandmother. Then the officers did not live very well, I hope that now they are provided with housing and high salaries!
Once, with the onset of cold weather, a mouse family settled in the attic. You would live quietly, so no - our groats were used to hauling.
We are not greedy people, but they are spoiling products!

He took a tin container from the VN-6 vacuum oil, roughly speaking - a high square bucket and cut off the upper part. I put a box next to it. I installed a fixed bar on the edge of the box, secured a tricky plate with an axis of rotation on it. To keep the plate in horizontal position - made a magnetic lock, which tuned in a couple of grams of weight at the end. The design is clear from the figure.
The magnet holds the bar firmly, but at one fine moment (wonderful for us, this moment is so-so for her), when the mouse reached the bait and dreamed of eating it, it is no longer able to hold the mass multiplied by the length of the lever and ...

In the morning I set up a trap and left for service, in the evening I came from service - I caught a mouse on the street, water in a container, a plank for a platoon, a sunflower seed on the edge, and myself to sleep. In the morning, the next was sailing!
Once there was an interesting case ... I come, and there are two of them - races after a seed fled? Or did the second one work in the mouse Ministry of Emergencies?
In a very short period I caught 13 pieces, saved the stock of cereals, and saved the family from starvation!

The officers have ended, gardening has begun. The mice are the same everywhere - in the army, in civilian life ... They are also engaged in embezzlement, this time - they still eat up finished products in the garden. Smart, not like a bear in a cartoon - they know that carrots need roots, not tops.
We are good people, but we don’t like crooks. I decided to scare them a little.
Well, I think, since they are so smart, I use electronics. They will see that everything is very scary - they will get scared, they will run away. And I’ll just catch the very arrogant and curious. The model turned out so terrible that even all the components escaped with fear, only the bare printed circuit board remained.
But it worked surprisingly simple and on the principle - put it there, it won’t work out again! During testing, he stuck a sheet of paper - it was clamped so tightly that he lifted the entire mousetrap by the sheet. The design is symmetrical and has two doors to the mouse hell - they let it in, but they no longer let out sinners - the door rests on the floor.
Set near a mouse hole ... In the morning the first was there. He took it to a neighbor's cat.
Then again, and again, and again ...
Once there was an interesting case ... By the way, I put a brick on this design so that a very large and smart mouse would not overturn the trap - then it would easily find a way out of a hopeless situation. So, I’m coming ... the brick is lying to the side (50 centimeters have been thrown away!), Next to the mousetrap is a hole half a meter deep, the structure itself is upside down and empty ...
Or a goblin came in or a wild cat sensing a mouse decided to get it ... Do you remember how the door works? There he put his paw, and then what happened ... Personally, I did not see, just imagine.
It was a pity for the mice. He carried the last caught to the lake, about two hundred meters, and ... let go. Since then, the mice have disappeared. It seems to me that she was able to return and talked about her nightmares, and the rest went away from the garden to Podobor Pozdorov.

In addition to the garden, there is still work. Surprisingly, in the fall, mice penetrate the office of a concrete building on the second floor! How??? You sit in the evening, write a program, do not touch anyone ... And suddenly! Bold, until you move, they can come very close. But it’s worth stirring, as there is behind an iron cabinet, and look for fistulas ...
We are not proud people, we have old spare parts and a desire to win.

I decided to take up the protection of seeds.
On one side is a ray of light, on the other is an old photoresistor
and a simple circuit.
In the load - a relay acting as a trigger.

While the seed blocks the flow of rays, the relay sleeps without hind legs. But one has only to abduct the protected masterpiece - the death ray strikes the photocell. The latter, though old, quickly loses its resistance with fear, and the magical field key quickly opens the relay, which releases the door from the hands, thereby blocking the path to retreat.
