All ultrabooks in one place
You have already heard about each of the ultrabooks mentioned in the material. Moreover - most likely seen. (We did preliminary reviews of absolutely every model). But everything is known in comparison. Therefore, the MacBook Air and Samsung 900X3A, also known as the Samsung 9 series, were included in the video list:
Macbook air
The world's thinnest laptop was not an ultrabook. Although for many years already almost completely meets all the requirements for Intel to this class of laptops.
The current version of Air is the third in a row. However, its main differences from the second are only in the filling. The second, in turn, differs from the first with a completely updated design.
The thinnest MacBook is notable for its aluminum body, glass touchpad, backlit island-style keys.

ASUS UX21
ASUS is the only company that released not only a 13-inch, but also an 11.6-inch version of its ultrabook (it is called UX21).
The UX31 is perhaps the most stylish of all ultrabooks and most resembles the MacBook Air: the case of the Taiwanese device is also made of a single piece of aluminum, and the touchpad is made of glass.

Acer Aspire S3
This novelty, thanks to party policy and the stable love of the middle class for the brand's laptops, promises to be the most popular of all ultrabooks.
The S3 case is made of magnesium-aluminum alloy, but, unlike the UX31, is matte. The only serious minus of this gadget - lowering the lid under the weight of its own weight - disappeared in the serial version.

Lenovo U300S
This - albeit a handsome one - cannot be called an ultrabook at once: the U300S is devoid of the rounded and refined edges of the case that are characteristic of, say, most ultrabooks. The U300S is rather the slimmer version of the IdeaPad U260 laptop.
Nevertheless, it is perfectly folded, its case is also aluminum, and the keys, from our point of view, are the best among all ultrabooks.

Toshiba z830
The most severe of all and, concurrently, the dream of a practical person. The Z830 case is made of magnesium, which allowed it to set a record in the class: it is the thinnest and lightest ultrabook in the world.
Z830 is still the only one of all such laptops whose keyboard is equipped with a backlight, and is not afraid of spilled liquid. The Z830 touchpad is equipped with separate buttons. In addition, only the Z830 has VGA connectors, an additional (third) USB and network port.

Samsung 900X3A
Despite the fact that the Samsung 9 series appeared long before the talk about ultrabooks began, this device is worthy of attention.
The Koreans stuffed the 900X3A with a lot of pleasant things: a duralumin case, an unusual appearance, a super-bright display and waking from sleep mode in three seconds.

Prices
The final world and especially Russian prices for most ultrabooks have not yet been determined. But one of Intel’s main wishes - “up to $ 1000” - Acer and ASUS, at least in the States, did it: the first will sell its S3 in the States for $ 900, and ASUS wants $ 1199 for an 11.6-inch UX21.
Some Russian online stores, by the way, have already begun to accept pre-orders for ultrabooks. So Acer Aspire S3 with Core i5 and a 320-gigabyte hard drive will cost 31,990 rubles. And for ASUS UX31 with the same processor, but with a 128-gigabyte hard drive, they want 44,200 rubles.
