New service “Schedule of court hearings”

Yesterday, a new service for arbitration courts was launched called the “ Schedule for Court Review ”. This is another small step on the huge path of modernization of the judicial system of the Russian Federation.

The number of meetings held in courts daily varies from 100 to 20,000. For those who held in court awaiting consideration of their case, these are not just numbers, but long hours. Now you can quickly find out about the time and place of the meeting using information monitors and interactive terminals. Literally, like at the airport.

    How does the service work?

Court employees are provided with an account with operator rights, through which they enter the administration area. It is enough to choose a court and proceed to the conclusion of information to the terminal or to the plasma panel.

By specifying a screen for displaying information, the service operator selects an office (courtroom) and a meeting. The list of meetings for the current date automatically comes from the service " Calendar of court hearings ."
After choosing a court session, the operator indicates its status:
    • the beginning of the meeting
    • decision-making
    • conclusion of the meeting (resolution)
    • break / adjournment announcement

The operator can also note the parties present by ticking, combine the meeting and indicate the result of the court session, for example, the claim is fully or partially satisfied. The types of results are represented by a drop-down list. When taking a break or adjourning the meeting, the operator sets the date and place of the next hearing. After the adoption of the operative part (the decision of the court session) or the appointment of a new session, the data on the case are updated in the File of Arbitration Cases , and in the near future in the Calendar of Court Sessions .

The service aims to simplify the process of work in courts. The admin panel is very easy to use and does not require court staff to study it.

    What does the user see?

The visitor to the court sees a plasma screen with general information about the upcoming meetings: the time of the case, the participants and the court room number. Each hall has an interactive information terminal, which displays all the meetings scheduled for the current date in this hall. By clicking on the meeting, the user will see a card with detailed information. It indicates the number of the case, the judge, all participants and the determination of the case.

The advantage of the service is that the information is updated online. In this case, the participant awaiting their meeting will be aware of whether he still has time to “have a drink of coffee” or whether it is time to proceed to the courtroom. The Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation, Belgorod AS and AS of the Novgorod Region were among the first to introduce the service into operation. Implementation is voluntary and non-operational)
