Toshiba showed the first samples of the new Satellite R800 series at the presentation of the latest generation of Intel Core processors
The first samples, though pre-production ones, first saw the Russian audience at an event held on March 23 at the Pushkinsky Cinema, and took part in a demonstration of the possibilities offered by the new generation of processors Sandy Bridge.
Satellite R830 was presented at the company's booth, and Satellite R840 was chosen for demonstration on stage.
The flight simulator was not chosen for demonstration by chance - it demonstrated the processing speed of complex objects and textures with a graphic core built directly into the processor. This means that laptops are much more efficient and consume much less power.
On sale laptops should appear at the beginning of next month.
