The catalyst for the emergence of this mechanism was the case of 42-year-old Briton Simone Back (Simone Back), which brought to life December 25, 2010. Back wrote on her Facebook page that she had taken a lethal dose of pills, but none of her more than a thousand friends took this message seriously. If help had arrived on time, Back would have been saved.
