jQuery Mobile Alpha 3 Released
The jQuery Mobile blog reports the release of alpha 3 version 1.0 of the JavaScript framework for mobile systems.
Compared with the 2nd alpha, the following changes have been made:
480 commits
, about 150 bugs fixed,
240 unit tests created (almost all passed in most browsers).
Improved kernel and navigation plugin.
Added support for Firefox Mobile (Fennec), Opera Mobile / Mini, and improved for iOS, Android, BlackBerry 6, Palm WebOS, and most desktop modern browsers.
Added default wrapper for jQuery UI datepicker plugin with optimization for mobile interfaces
Fixed “fixed” toolbar :-)
Improved keyboard and accessibility support through VoiceOver
A
lot of improvements and optimizations
came close to supporting windows phone 7 and Nokia. The immediate goals are to release the first beta a month before the release of version 1.0.
Add support for Windows Phone 7, BlackBerry 5, Nokia devices.
