New comment plugin
One of the “secrets” of Facebook’s success is its tools for integrating with other sites, as it is they who “bring” to Facebook more content (or links to it), which in turn turns Facebook from a regular social network into a powerful platform, which users can use in a variety of ways.
Among these tools, plugins for media sites of news agencies, newspapers, television channels and online publications proper play an important role. Plugins allow people to easily post links to articles of interest to them on their Facebook wall and comment on them using their Facebook name instead of registering on each site separately.
Recently, the media comment plugin has undergone minor changes that should be borne in mind by both publishers and users:
The changes also affected the moderation of the discussion:

Plugins allow people to easily post links to articles of interest to them on their Facebook wall and comment on them using their Facebook name instead of registering on each site separately.
Recently, the media comment plugin has undergone minor changes that should be borne in mind by both publishers and users:
- Comments in the plugin are displayed taking into account the relationship between the user and commentators and the quality of the comments: comments from friends and friends of the user's friends and comments and branches with the most answers and "likes" go up to the plugin.
- Next to the name of the commentator is indicated public information from his profile: age, city of residence, where he works, number of mutual friends.
- The discussion that begins on the site can be continued in the user's feed on Facebook: all comments left under the article on Facebook are synchronized with the comments in the plugin on the site, which allows you to save a single discussion on the site and on Facebook. If someone replies to a user’s comment on a site, the user will receive a notification on Facebook.
- Users can comment not only under their personal profile, but also in page mode, if the user comments in the plugin in page mode, then these comments will be visible to all fans of the page.
- All comments in the plugin and on Facebook are now organized in discussion threads.
The changes also affected the moderation of the discussion:
- Moderators can make a list of words that cannot appear in the comments on the site and also make a black list of users who cannot participate in the discussion.
- Moderators can set the comment moderation mode, all comments that users leave on the site will be visible only to themselves, their Facebook friends and moderators. Comments will appear on the site and will be visible to all visitors only after the moderator approves the comment for publication.
