RU-Center completed the second stage of auctions. Russian Federation. They openly write on their own resource that the cost of a domain can reach 55,000 cu .
As for the names themselves, these are really the most “delicious” domains, for example: pharmacy.rf, business.rf, erotica.rf, bar.rf, tires.rf, hospital.rf, etc. A total of 914 domains.
Why are prices so high? According to the representatives of RU-Center themselves, they held auctions so that the domains would not go to cybersquatters. But, alas, these dishonest citizens cunningly got to auctions and, according to the assurances of the RU-Center, increased prices and disrupted auctions. RU-Сenter took a retaliatory step and excluded them from the repeated bidding round. And what do we see? 55 000 cu! Riddle, children: who increases the prices when only conscientious conscious citizens and RU-Center are left among the participants?
More than 400 domains “for various reasons” RU-Center promises to put up for public auctions.

RU-Center was to provide the FAS with the list of documents that the FAS requested on December 16 at the first hearing in the case of a violation of Law No. 135-ФЗ “On Protection of Competition” in the process of registering domain names in a domain. A press conference is scheduled at which the official conclusion of the commission formed by the Coordination Center to study the problems of domain registration in the zone will be announced. Gazeta.ru writes about this :
One of the commission’s members, State Duma deputy Alexander Khinshtein, told Gazeta.ru that the commission made rather tough conclusions based on the results of the work, especially regarding the corruption of some participants in the name registration process in the .rf zone. According to the commission, one of those responsible for the scandal and violations is a federal official, "appointed and removed by decree of the prime minister."
Everyone who is interested in the question has long been waiting for this solution. BUT! It must be understood that all decisions and conclusions of the commission are only advisory in nature. Who will undertake the implementation of this decision and whether it will be undertaken is unknown. Maybe Andrey Kolesnikov from the Coordination Center has already shown that he is ready for decisive action. And if not? One hope for FAS, because Minister of Communications Igor Shchegolev in an interview with Ekho Moskvy said:
“I want to repeat, this is not the state’s business - this is the business of public organizations. Protested less than 1%. Well, in general, for such an amount, despite the fact that over 40 thousand registrations were conducted within a few days, that’s exactly when such a scandal raged in our glass of our water. This, I think, is quite an acceptable indicator. As for the conclusions, there were appeals to the FAS. Probably some lawsuits went to arbitration courts. Well, wait for the results to understand how justified it was and how much attention that was paid to these negative aspects really corresponded to the scale of the disaster. ”
