Tuning Opera menu

    Hi% username%! I heard many times how people asked to remove the built-in mail or other features and did it several times myself, for which every time everyone who tried tried to get a refusal. But doesn’t this prevent us from removing from the field of view everything that we don’t like?
    First, some basic information:
    • The standard menu configuration file is stored in C: \ Program Files \ Opera \ ui \ standard_menu.ini (toolbars in C: \ Program Files \ Opera \ ui \ standard_toolbar.ini);
    • In Windows 7, user menu configuration files are located in C: \ Users \ Andrey \ AppData \ Roaming \ Opera \ Opera \ menu \ (respectively for toolbars in C: \ Users \ Andrey \ AppData \ Roaming \ Opera \ Opera \ toolbar);
    • The final profile is formed by overlaying user settings on the standard ones. you can not redefine only the necessary part;
    • You can select the current style in "General Settings" (Ctrl + F12) -> "Advanced" -> "Panels". I recommend that before any manipulations create a copy of the edited profile and change only it ;

    Updated configuration (now it does not depend on the version of the browser and will not be overwritten during the update). To install, unzip the archive to the% AppData% / Opera folder (those for Windows 7 in C: \ Users \ Andrey \ AppData \ Roaming \ Opera \ Opera \)
    Some changes:
    • The menu items “Exit”, “Opera Unite” and “Synchronization” have been removed (the last 2 are duplicated with a button in the status bar);
    • The item "Show menu" has been moved to "Settings" -> "Quick Settings";
    • Button "Mail and chat ..." moved to "Settings";
    • "Appearance" moved to "Settings";
    • The button "Full Screen" has been added to the toolbar "View" on the status bar;
    • Removed the submenu responsible for widgets. Instead, you can use "Settings" -> "Manage widgets";
    • Development tools moved from the "Page" to the root of the menu;
    • Everything related to copy-paste of text has been removed from the “Page” submenu; this functionality is available through the right-click menu on PCM;
    • The print settings have been transferred to the “Page” submenu;
    • The context menus have been significantly reduced by deleting less-used items ("Set as desktop background", etc.)
