Help evaluate site content

After reading the article about FaceSearch - search with a new face , the idea came up how to try to make using the Like button more effective, because now it shows only those pages (sites) that a Facebook user likes. But you often want to point to those pages that you would not want to see in the search results anymore.

My suggestion is simple, although certainly not new :).

It is necessary to provide users with the opportunity to evaluate the pages on which they get as a result of search, surfing the network. How to do it?

First, make an extension for browsers (for example, Google for Chrome can deliver it in a standard form, without additional installation, and implement Yandex in Yandex.Bar) similar to WOT, but which will evaluate not only the domain, but also the pages themselves. It is even possible to make two buttons side by side on the panel - “Liked” / “Didn’t like it”. I think that for many it will not be difficult to evaluate the pages viewed, especially since the browser toolbar is always before your eyes, while the Like Facebook button still needs to be found. For more advanced and active users, you can make it possible to indicate the “interestingness” of a page in almost the same way as in WOT , i.e. I didn’t discretely like or dislike, but according to several parameters (originality, completeness of presentation, usefulness, etc.) in percentage terms indicate compliance with these parameters.

Secondly, you can provide an interface similar to Facebook so that the webmaster himself posted a button with such an assessment. Most likely, on the pages where there will probably be a negative review, such “buttons” will not be put, or they will post fakes, but this is also an occasion to give a bonus to a page that was not afraid to be rated.

Of course, the protection from the “markups” of the rating will surely have to be addressed, but I think that this is completely solvable with a certain degree of accuracy with respect to the results.

Most likely the idea is already being implemented and not today or tomorrow we will connect to the matrix for evaluating the content of sites, so I propose to evaluate who will launch it first? Google? Yandex? Or even Bing?
