XBOX360 Wireless Joystick on PC
So, it was autumn and I wanted to play on my TV with the XBOX360 wireless joystick lying on the couch.
Before that, I bought a Saitek P990 and every time I picked it up I ran to the toilet and it started to make me sick.
Googling in the Chinese market showed a link to the Wireless Controller Gaming Receiver for Xbox 360 (White) for $ 11 with delivery. Judging by the reviews, the receiver works, but costs 10 times cheaper than the original. So, without hesitation, I made an order on November 3, and today I took the package from the post office.
Setup and test under the cut
I took pictures with a packing phone: I connected the receiver to a PC, my Win7 x86 swore, I do not know they say such a device. OK, we insert the disk, the standard setup does not start, I'm not compatible, dear, with vin7. Run setupstb.exe from the disk, install the software, then in the device manager, poked to update the driver from an unknown receiver, chose the “USB Driver” directory on the disk, installed the USB driver. The devices appeared PC Wireless Gaming Reciever. I inserted the batteries in the joystick, turned it on. I pressed and held the SYNC button and pressed SYNC on the receiver, all the lights blinked for 3 seconds and a joystick appeared in the devices. Now we click on the XBOX logo on the joystick and appears on the screen: I checked the performance in the XPADDER program - everything works!
I launched the DeathSpank game on the PC, chose the “controller mode” there and the joy immediately started, even the vibration works correctly.
I launched Snank at 37 "in 1920x1080, the joystick caught right away, the picture just shook, the vibration vibrated, my hands sweated, I didn’t get soooo long.
We are happy !
