5 million users: we need more servers

    Twenty-two thousand one hundred and thirty people joined Evernote just yesterday. Seriously: 22,130. This is a record in itself, but beyond that, we overcame the 5,000,000 mark!

    Over the past few weeks, we have actually been breaking record after record:
    • the highest daily income from premium subscribers ;
    • The largest daily audience of Windows users (thanks to our recent update to Evernote 4.0 for Windows )
    • The largest daily audience of Android users (thanks to our new excellent Evernote 2.0 for Android );
    • finally, the largest daily audience of BlackBerry users who also received an Evernote client update.
    Don’t worry, soon we are planning large-scale updates for both Mac and iPhone / iPad!

    Only 83 days have passed since the moment the four millionth user registered, and this is about 12,000 new users daily. Here's what it looks like:

    And the fact that I have said it four times already does not make my words less sincere: many thanks to all our wonderful users, partners, employees and investors! Together we made a product that affected the lives of over five million people. Is not that great?

    CEO of Evernote Corp.

    UPD: and one more news for today: we have opened the possibility of a quarterly subscription to a premium service.
