Release version DoubleGIS 3.0.8

In the new version of DublGIS 3.0.8, we took into account the wishes and comments from the previous release regarding the operation of the Update Center in corporate networks, slightly improved the interface and fixed a number of minor bugs. Talking about the latter does not make much sense, but it should be said about innovations.



Firstly, the changes affected the Update Center, which, as we already wrote, has been built into the DoubleGIS shell from the previous release:

• The call button of the Update Center has become more visible and is now located in the upper right corner of the program.
• The interface of the Update Center has been improved. Now in the list of city databases available for download, a list of already installed databases and updates to them is displayed.
• Changed the logic of work in corporate networks. If DublGIS is installed on a network resource and the user does not have write permissions to the directory “$ (All Users) / Application Data / 2GIS”, the functionality of the Update Center is disabled and does not make any attempts to connect to the Internet and install updates. If you run DoubleGIS with the -NoUpdate parameter, the update center functionality will also be disabled.

Secondly, the changes affected the directory of organizations: the "Catalog" button is located to the left of the search fields, and the catalog window has become larger, more beautiful and more understandable. Especially for those who like to manually study the contents of the headings :)

One could finish this post, but there is one more news: from yesterday, from August 10, the list of our cities was added to Sochi and Voronezh , which, like Yaroslavl and Naberezhnye Chelny , open on a franchise program . The next will be Volgograd.

Update The
update of the mobile version is already being prepared. I can’t name the exact release date yet, but soon.

DoubleGIS- An electronic directory with a map of the city. Distributed free of charge in 31 cities of Russia and Ukraine. At the moment, the audience of DublGIS is 6 million users. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, DublGIS is not yet represented.
