Interesting HTPC board from ASUS

ASUS introduced an inexpensive HTPC solution in the form of AT5IONT-I board. This board is made in the mini-ITX form factor and has a built-in dual-core Intel Atom D525 1.8 GHz processor, as well as integrated NVIDIA ION graphics.

It is also worth noting the massive passive cooling system with three heat pipes. On board the ASUS AT5IONT-I has:

• Two USB 3.0 ports
• 2x SATA 3.0Gbps
• PCI Express x4
• two slots for memory modules DDR3 800 SO-DIMM
• Gigabit ethernet
• eSATA
• DVI and HDMI outputs

Of course, there is a proprietary feature of ASUS - ExpressGate.

This board is already available for pre-order in Europe. Its cost is 141 euros.
