Fight begins

imageThe new head of Nokia's mobile solutions business, Annecy Wanyoki, wrote his thoughts about the company's prospects and future challenges in a rather emotional way to Nokia Conversations. He described the company as a “fighter." He relies on the highest quality in order to regain the company's reputation as the flagship of the hi-end class and return the fans. He also mentions their “best Symbian guru” Ricky Kadden and expects to return his lost faith in the company, as well as many others, and also says that popular support is the most important aspect of the company's success.

As for the software, Annecy confirms that the N8 will be the last device on the Symbian ^ 3 platform , but says that the appearance of Symbian ^ 4 is very (sooooo) likely... And winks wily :). Symbian is still the main system for Nokia smartphones. While there will be Annecy - an android on Nokia, apparently, will not be . MeeGo is referred to as a powerful platform for mobile computers (not for smartphones, namely computers).

    He sums up like this:
There is no denying that as fighters, we must fight with our own hands. The first battle is to bring you products and services that you want to use that will inspire and create new things, changing the digital world.
I am ready to accept the challenge, like the whole Nokia team.
