Android I9000 Galaxy S Video Preview
One of the first copies of the company's new smartphone, namely Galaxy S, running Android and using the TouchWiz 3.0 interface (the same will be used in Wave) fell into the hands of testers with hi-tech.mail.ru.
As it was already possible to understand from our previous publications on Habré, in 2010 the company intends to actively declare itself in the market of high-performance mobile devices: these will be devices on the bada proprietary platform, and devices on win-solutions, and, as is clear from the post title , Android devices.
Earlier it was already written on Habréthat the official position of Google in relation to vendors is as follows: "not the platform developer should adapt to the terms of the vendors, but rather, device manufacturers must keep up with the software developers and try to keep up with the innovations."
The position is understandable, Google is a giant in the information technology market that cannot wait for every product manufacturer to solve it, all the more so since their pricing policy does not provide for any royalties, as is the case with Microsoft products, for example. This solution has certain disadvantages, which are described in the link above, but there are undoubted pluses - only the largest and most prepared players will decide to enter the race, and, as we see, Samsung is among them.
The represented device probably collected all the innovations and successful solutions of both the company itself and the world industry as a whole: there is Wi-Fi version n and Bluetooth version 3 (yes, we are aware of the joke that with Bluetooth any the thing is getting better :), and the screen is based on Super AMOLED technology; in general, see for yourself:
