"Your Radio". Desktop client development

    Your radio“ Your Radio ” (a post about him already ) is like Last.fm radio, only free and using a gigantic music database. This is a web application for the VKontakte social network.

    But you must admit, listening to music through a browser is very inconvenient! Need to pause a song? We switch to the browser window, look for the desired tab ... hell, where does it play? It’s easier to turn off the column.

    Therefore, a desktop client was created with a tray icon and support for multimedia keyboards. It is very cool.

    And most importantly! Since I myself am physically unable to collect packages and maintain the program under Mac OS and all the variety of Linux distributions, and in addition, a complete noob in C ++, it was decided to put the program sources in the public domain.
