Snowball Publishing House became a part of 1C-SoftKlab

    Moscow, April 30, 2010. The Russian publisher Snowball, created in 1996 for the development, localization and promotion of computer games, and the company " 1C-SoftKlab, confidently occupying a leading position in the Russian computer and video game market, announced the signing of an agreement on the merger of companies.

    The result of the merger will be the merger of publishing catalogs of companies and the integration of Snowball Studios into the structure of the 1C-SoftKlab group as part of strengthening the group's specialization in key examinations allocated to separate publishing areas. The studio team will lead the work on projects that are most demanding of localization and market launch, including projects in the genres RPG, RTS / TBS and Quest / Adventure, released under the Snowball brand.

    The Snowberry Connection production fund, created by Snowball in 2006 to finance and launch projects of independent Russian and European developers on the international market, will also continue to work as part of the 1C-SoftKlab group, providing for the production and promotion of not only games of the fund’s partners, but also a number of projects of Russian studios included in the 1C-SoftKlab group.
