Ubuntu Linux based gaming platform - Spark 10.3

    Today, the Russian company Integra-L presented the release of Sparks 10.3 - a gaming Linux distribution based on Ubuntu Linux 9.10.

    The spark is positioned precisely as a “gaming platform” created for everyone who wants to join the world of games in Linux. The distribution kit includes proprietary ATI and NVIDIA drivers, WINE 1.1.43, as well as the company's own development - Liquid 3.1 user interface based on GNOME 2.28, Compiz 0.8.4, AWN.

    Today, there are 42 games available for Iskra users, including OpenArena, Battle Tanks, Hedgewars, Boswars, Glest, Warzone2100, Battle for Wesnoth, Extreme Tux Racer, Foobillard, Xmoto and others.

    In addition to games in Iskra, you can find a familiar set of applications like OpenOffice or Firefox.
