RIF + CIB with our eyes: photo report
About the next conference RIF + CIB, which was held recently, many posts have already been created on Habré. We also have something to say, or rather show. The conference itself was so informative that talking about it was a thankless task. Either give a brief annotation to each report and paint the atmosphere, or keep silent. We decided to find a compromise and offer you a photo report with brief comments. Let’s say right away, we practically didn’t take pictures of reports and speeches, trying to better convey the atmosphere, the surroundings of the conference.

One of the highlights of the conference was ballooning. The ball was kindly provided by Oversan-Skalaksi and anyone could ride it. True, before this, one had to have patience - when the venerable audience tried out unusual entertainment, a decent queue formed on the site.

They did not rise high, but the view was excellent.
Over the gray plain of the park, a logo is proudly flying.

The operator at times succumbed to heat so that passengers crouched.
And in the alleys of the "Forest Dales", meanwhile, there were races of radio-controlled cars. Announcing the start of the competition, the host made a slip of the tongue and called everyone to the "race of radioactive cars." We tensed a little, but nevertheless curiosity won.
None of the objects were left without attention. Literally everything was branded.

Mail.ru placed many touching figures on the territory. They did not carry a special semantic load - they lifted the mood, and unobtrusively advertised. In general, the company worked well for the conference, with a minimum of funds, such as drawings on asphalt, having achieved an almost universal presence.
Despite the visits of distinguished guests, the RIF is famous for its informality. Some of the participants took their children with them, and they, in turn, felt at ease and had fun from the heart.

Mail.ru postmen walked around the boarding house and halls, with them it was possible to pass the news to anyone, you just need to name some coordinates. We were pleased to send business cards to all the acquaintances and strangers.
The boarding house is located on the banks of the river and we could not resist the temptation to take some photos. They turned out to be somewhat autumnal and even picturesque, in the style ofdull sad landscapes by Russian artists.
Against such a background, it’s a sin not to take pictures! Your humble servant.

Near the main building, the IVI video service arranged a hookah-chillout. All three days the place was wildly popular. There were business negotiations, long-standing acquaintances and friends met, games were held in the "mafia" and hookah evenings. In a word, a place of power.
So, right on the ottomans, people solved important business issues. It’s quite effective.
And next - the turn to the buffet. It was easy to spend half an hour here trying to buy a couple of cups of tea and ice cream.
At the Mail.ru booth there were mostly friendly and smiling girls.
And here is the Oversan-Skalaksi stand in rare moments of peace. The first two days at the booth reigned a pleasant stir.
