Serial Number Adventures
A short and small investigation, the conclusions of which are not very significant, but funny.
There is a fairly well-known framework for building dynamic maps. Used a lot where, including Yandex, something like that .
If you dig a little deeper, you can get the serial number of the product.
And the most curious can find out that this serial number uses not only Yandex .
You may find that Yandex is serious enough not to use broken keys in public projects. But such facts are a little alarming:
1. The site www.astronomy2009.org can also not be called frivolous
2. The site of Yandex itself is not in the list of "consumers" of the serial number.
In general, someone stole from someone. Who doesn’t know from anyone, my investigation ended there.
UPD: I didn’t notice an elephant; Yandex is really an AmMap client. By the way, I tried the serial on the demo version - it works for myself.
