Yesterday it was officially announced that since April 12, 2010, the registration of domain names in regional zones has been temporarily suspended. The reason is the transfer of service for such domain names from the company RELCOM. BUSINESS NETWORK »to RU-CENTER. In other words, while RU-CENTER will be accustomed to the role of a service and registration company that has already become familiar, we will not see free domain names.
As RU-CENTER support service confirmed, the registration of regional domain names will soon become paid.
Many hosting providers have already responded to the official news and closed the possibility of ordering regional domain names.
