Viruses May Destroy Business
I want to tell you about a case that happened at the beginning of this week with my YPAG.RU project (comparable in attendance to the yellow pages of Yell.ru )

There is a section of free tenders in the directory http://www.ypag.ru/tenders/ , which you can subscribe to and receive newsletters in which you are informed about new tenders. The service is popular and has a large subscriber base.
In the evening, complaints began to arrive that we were sending spam to our subscribers; 100-200 letters per one box of the same content immediately arrived. In letters, links lead to our tenders. The design and layout of the newsletter is completely licked from our newsletter. That day the robot did not do mailings. It immediately became clear that the action was aimed at destroying the image of the project.
They began to sort it out, they found a Trojan from one of our administrators. It was not detected by any known antivirus. We have a good system manager, he picked it up - the Trojan only catches server admin passwords (BD, cron (he was not interested in anything else)). How he got to him is hard to imagine. The admin is sensible and stupidly send him a letter - "Look here girls" will not work. Tried to figure out who the recipient is, the sending goes to the bourgeois mailer mail2web.com. It is clear that to get some information from them is not realistic.
Spam 5 days !!!
There are 5% of subscribers left in the database !!!
