Google announced that they would drop the SearchWiki project and leave the Starred Results feature in place, which is essentially a cropped version of SearchWiki. It will allow users to simply mark certain search queries so that they are displayed at the top of the page when searching for other relevant queries.

SearchWiki was Google’s first attempt to offer users personalized search results, allowing them to change the order of sites, raise sites, removing them and commenting. It looked like this:

As mentioned above, it has been replaced by "starred results", which will also display sites at the top of the page, but separately from the "native" Google results. Here's how Google commented on this after the experience gained over a year of SearchWIki testing:
"In our testing, we learned that people really liked the idea of marking a website for future reference, but they didnt like changing the order of Googles organic search results."

The way it will (and already ) look like:

Starred results will work on many Google projects, so you can see your tagged Google searches on Google maps as well. "Starred results" will only show when you are logged in, and do not appear in the SEO industry.
