German scientists from the Institute of Technology Karlsruhe have developed a technology thanks to which people with disabilities of speech can talk on the phone. The technology is based on the principle of electromyography, that is, during the conversation, the electrical activity that occurs when muscles move is read and analyzed.

Using this technology, you can talk on the phone without making a sound, and the person at the other end of the wire will hear the computer-generated speech generated by the program. A very convenient form of telephone communication for those places where you cannot speak loudly, or for those situations where confidentiality is required, and there is no way to find a secluded place for conversation.
