Today I was lucky to use one of the Microsoft products: Russian Evangelism.
The feelings were not the best.
There are a lot of comments under the cut. But before you read them, just think if the impoliteness of everything that happens in the comments is worth it. Maybe you shouldn’t be rude to a person if he mistakenly asked you a question that is not in your competence?
Perhaps, at least a neutral reaction will be sufficient? Not to mention that you could simply redirect to the right people.
As a separate line, I don’t understand why an evangelist who receives his hard-earned money including my hard-earned ~ 7000 rubles, which I paid for 2 licenses for Windows 7, can generally behave this way. Understand, I don’t think that he is obliged to answer my question (by the way, I just wanted to find out from him why there is no disk with a 64-bit version in the box with Windows 7 Home Basic and where to get it ), but I think that this behavior is simply unacceptable.
In general, here he is - Russian evangelism, meaningless and merciless.
And I wrote all this to what. The image of the company is not obtained from beautiful press releases and not from cases when the client is well, but when the client has a problem and he turns to the company for a solution.
Customers, they are. The bad is remembered better than the good. I remember very well how I argued with Microsoft support for an hour and a half that I was not a pirate and begged them to send me an activation key so that Windows XP can be reinstalled for the third time. After such humiliations, calling me there is not very pleasant. And I will also remember this case.
So, big smart uncles, or those who are going to become them - do not get arrogant!

- Why did the evangelist find time and desire to scold me, and time and desire to at least find out what I wanted to ask - no?

- What happens if you ask the evangelist, "What time is it?"
