LEC - A new generation of light panels from Swiss developers
Using the new super material Grafen, Swedish scientists, with the support of their American ones, developed new low-cost light panels (LEC - light emitting electromechanical cells). These panels can cover quite large areas, such as walls or ceilings in rooms, while normal lighting will become unnecessary. Graphene or LEC panels, much cheaper than existing OLED panels, are easier to manufacture, and besides, they can be completely recycled after use.
