The device is not a novelty or to some extent a revelation in the market of smartphones and communicators, but for those who are familiar with Gigabyte communicators, these characteristics are not an empty set of words.
What to say? Beautiful. Fair. Without a twinge of conscience. Beautiful device.
Gigabyte is the first really nice looking device (personally for me).

Most of the device is occupied, as is already customary - the display. Its resolution is 480 * 800 pixels, a diagonal of 3.1 inches.
The aspect ratio is 16: 9, because of this, the freshly downloaded Dr. House series was stretched and wide smiles looked at me from the screen. Of course, this can be overcome by selecting the correct resolution, but why refuse that which is so familiar and works? ..
There is practically nothing more to say about the display - it is resistive, it is average. The grain is small.
Around the display is a metal frame, like ... yes yes! IPhone. Stylish. Steel even.
The speaker and the select / action button are made in the same style as a “round wheel with a chrome rim”.
The upper part of the device is slightly more rounded than the lower. It’s strange why they didn’t do it symmetrically?
In addition to the speaker, there is a front camera and an indicator above the screen (it blinks green or red, depending on the situation).
Under the screen, as I said, there is a “select” button, and to the left and to the right of it are “glass” buttons for starting and ending a conversation. The first, wherever you are in the device’s menu, will call you a dialer applet; Well, the second, wherever you are again, is reset to the home screen.
On the left side of the device there are only two volume control buttons (by the way - they are terribly implemented in WiMo - the volume is regulated only by the phone - the main speaker, that is, if you listen to music and press this button - you do not change the volume of the media player, but the phone ... terribly uncomfortable). Using these buttons, you can also move up and down the menu (because there is no hard joystick).
On the top face is the power button (as well as turn off the screen) of the device. Loudspeaker speaker grill (quite such a stylish slot). The button seemed to me too small. Uncomfortable to unlock the device quickly.
The right side of the device contains: a slot for a memory card (hot swap - yes, yes !!), a two-position camera shutter button.
At the bottom there is a connector for connecting a charger, a usb cable, as well as a headset - all in one connector (I won’t say why it is inconvenient. Who used Siemens will understand). A microphone hole is also located right there.
On the back there is nothing but the eye of a three-megapixel camera with autofocus, and the inscription “gsmart giba-byte communications”. Why through a hyphen - I do not know.
The whole device is assembled quite well. Almost no creaks. He sits nicely in his hand. He is thin. Really thin. Many of those who saw the device asked, “what kind of beauty?” When they heard “gigabytes”, they opened their mouths and rounded their eyes. The design of the device was a success. I liked the hard part of the device. But the software - no.
I still do not understand - why are such simple things in winmobile done so ... wrong?
For example, I want to type SMS. What am I doing on a regular phone? I go to the menu, select "SMS", press "create", select someone and write.
What am I doing at VinMobile? I get the stylus (!!!), press the "start" button, look for the "sms" icon, press it, press the "menu", "create", "sms", write to whom, write what.
You can do this without a stylus. But why? Anyway, you can’t get into this keyboard with the “2.5 * 2.5 mm” buttons with your finger! and these are the "big buttons".
Excuse me ... Since 2002, when I threw out my HP iPaq 2210 PDA, has nothing changed? all the same terrible keyboard, in which to type in English, I must switch the language before each (EVERY !!!) letter ???! never in life!
