A stable version of the PHP framework Yii 1.1 has been released.
This release is the result of more than a year of hard work by the development team and the community. It includes the following new features and improvements:
- Testing based on PHPUnit .
- Builder of forms .
- Ability to create skins for widgets.
- Improved ActiveRecord relational query API.
- The kit now comes with a set of Zii extensions, including widgets for jQuery UI and other useful components.
The complete guide for version 1.1 in Russian at yiiframework.ru is already up to date.
Translation of the updated blog creation guide will be completed a bit later.
