Free WiFi at McDonald's

From mid-January, McDonalds will make free Wi-Fi in almost all eateries in the United States. As you can see, the Americans are taking an example from Russia and Ukraine, where in McDonald’s WiFi has long been free of charge (Golden Telecom and Ukrtelecom, respectively). Maybe that's why it is precisely in Moscow and Kiev that the most visited McDonald's in the world are located.

Previously, for the wireless Internet you had to pay $ 2.95, and the service was not very popular with visitors who go to the "poppy" to quickly eat and run away. However, the owners of the most popular food service in the world want to reverse this trend and increase the average duration of sessions, and become something of a coffee shop. By the way, for the same purpose, they add frappe and confuse to the menu from next year (but this is an offtopic).

As practice shows, even a simple cafe can become a convenient office for a freelancer, if there is free WiFi. For a student traveling in America, this is generally ideal, because there are McDonald's on every corner.

WiFi service is available in 11,000 of the 14,000 American restaurants in the network, provided in partnership with the AT&T provider.
