We decided to talk a little about the latest update of Evernote 3.5 Beta 4, as in this version a number of significant improvements and new features were implemented. If you haven’t installed the new beta yet, you can do it right now. Just check for updates or click on this link .
And now more about the changes in the fourth beta.
The Evernote Clipper for Firefox now supports Evernote 3.5, which allows you to copy content from web pages directly to Evernote for Windows. This is a single Firefox add-on that is compatible with both Evernote for Windows and Evernote for Mac, and if there is no desktop client on your computer, the clipper will send copied sections of web pages to your notebooks through the Evernote web interface. The updated version makes it much easier to send notes to friends by email. No longer need to use the mail client, Evernote sends your notes through our server. This is very convenient for users who do not use email programs. This approach also allows for consistent e-mail notes no matter which version of Evernote you use. If you need a copy of the note in the mail, just enable the “Send a copy to me” checkbox. In this case, a copy of the note will be sent to the address to which your Evernote account is registered.
The latest beta release has gained a huge amount of new features in the interface. Among the many improvements are a more accurate note information panel (just click on the small arrow on the right to expand or collapse detailed data), as well as an improved mixed display mode.
