SmartQ V7 Review

A few weeks ago, the Chinese company SmartDevices began selling a new line of MIDs - SmartQ V, which consists of SmartQ V5 and V7. The devices differ in screen size (4.3 "vs 7") and battery capacity. The V series is based on the Telechips TCC8900 chipset, which can play video up to 1080p.
- Device screen: 7 ", 800x480 pixels, resistive
- Communication: Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b / g, connection via 3G USB modem, USB Host / OTG
- Chipset Telechips TCC8900 with a processor TCC8901, clocked at 600 megahertz, 256MB DDRII, 2GB non-volatile memory
- HDMI, composite, 3.5mm outputs, integrated microphone, SDHC card reader
- 4500mAH Li-Pol battery
- Dimensions: 200x120x24, 480 grams
In a set:
- A charger with a non-European plug (what is it called?), A manual and a warranty card in Chinese, an HDMI cable and the device itself. An interesting piece of paper was also discovered, can someone tell me what it is?
On the side of the MIDA are 3.5mm, HDMI, USB, and a charging port.
I note that USB can work in OTG and HOST modes, i.e. You can print to the printer without drivers and insert flash drives.
MID works under control of three systems at once: Ubuntu, Android and Windows CE 6. Windows CE is in Chinese, but you can install a cab-anglofikator, and Android does not start, we will wait for a firmware update, which should be released this weekend.
In the bootloader settings there is a choice of HD-video mode, the higher the resolution, the less RAM available to the user
The video goes smoothly only in the vlc patched by the developers, but when applying subtitles, everything terribly slows down and the picture crumbles, so it’s most likely that it will not work to watch an hd anime. Installed smplayer (the patched mplayer is already in the firmware), everything is fine with subtitles, but the acceleration works somehow strange, you definitely can’t see 1080p. Under Windows CE, the player from telechips, complete minimalism, almost no settings and no support for subtitles, I think you should not say how much tcpmp slows down.
I tried to connect to the TV via HDMI, the interface appears in the upper left corner of the 800x480, the rest of the screen is black, it plays for 3-4 seconds when playing video, then it switches to the screen.

I will supplement the review when a new firmware comes out.
