Do you store personal data, but are you in the registry?

Many sites store information, email, name, date of birth and much more. Have you ever wondered who will use this data and how?

The relationship of user data and their storage / processing operators is stipulated in the Federal Law of the Russian Federation of July 27, 2006 N 152-ФЗ “On Personal Data”.

A respectable operator as an additional peace of mind to its users should be registered in Roskomnadzor. And if earlier the procedure was somewhat complicated, now it’s enough to fill out the form on the website of Roskomnadzor - www.pd.rsoc.ru/operators-registry/notification/form to print the document and send it to the local office (addresses on the site are present).

Of course, K.O. they will say that it doesn’t give anything, that it’s more important to store the data in the DBMS correctly so that they don’t leave (we are not talking about protection in this case), that this is an extra reason to squeeze a bloody gebe, etc. ... But I believe that this is tantamount to that you don’t have to pay taxes, you still have to be law-abiding. And by the way, this greatly facilitates the conversation with law enforcement when they come to visit about some user who has committed an offense, even if the data is fake in the DBMS, then the conversation is in a completely different direction.

By the way, on the Personal Data Portal of Roskomnadzor, you can search for current operators, for example
    Odnoklassniki www.pd.rsoc.ru/operators-registry/operators-list/?id=08-0011315
