Resentful about HC.ru
I wanted to share our argument with hc.ru
We all love various stocks that save us money in one way or another and we don’t often know what they are hiding.
About 3-4 years ago, an acquaintance had an interesting web-idea, we selected a domain, chose a hosting for a long time, I wanted the site to work quickly :) the
choice fell on hc.ru there was an action “when buying a hosting - a domain as a gift”.
They saved money for this promotion ...
But what happened as a result, you will find out under the cut :)
I then got my own dedicated server and transferred all sites to myself from shared hosting, leaving the DNS records stored on an external hosting.
but there was a problem with the transfer :)
1 DNS records I did not have the right to manage. turned to the support politely prompted me to buy a domain for 600r. we all know that in 99% of cases this price includes both Primary and Secondary dns
But it wasn’t there, there was no editing of the DNS table settings.
Another call to the support, they asked me to buy another Primary and Secondary dns again for 600 rubles.
everything worked and everyone was happy, until it was time to renew not only “Registration in the .ru zone” again, but also Primary and Secondary dns.
I again turned to the support of this company, saying why should I pay 2 times for one service?
To which I received an answer, so that everything works, pay and there will be happiness, I repeated the question, why do I have to pay twice for one service?
to which I again received the answer that I explained, this is due to the fact that the domain was in addition to your hosting, and there was no way around this.

Here you can see that all services as services, DNS are not limited when buying a domain.
And for the allocated services I pay 2 times (1000 rubles in total :)). Thank you hc.ru :)
and by the way, it won’t say advertising, but for about a year I’ve been using a different hosting for my DNS names dnar.ru, only 95 rubles a year and DNS included in these 95 rubles and more flexible settings and time of their use :)
