Improving video quality

Many have probably already heard about the new version of Skype 4.1, in which the function "share the desktop" is added. Yesterday I decided to test it and found that the picture quality is very high! And I wanted the same quality from a regular video. And the thought came :)



What does Skype do when the channel is slow? It reduces quality! And sometimes to such a state that it is impossible to see anything! Therefore, it is sometimes better to leave the quality, but to lower the refresh rate of the picture.

We will need any program that displays video from your webcam. For some reason, the webcam verification chip built into Skype could not be used. I went into one note, clicked on “video recording”, and a picture appeared in super-quality! Now it remains only to share this piece of your screen with the interlocutor, and for this you can use this new Skype function, and you can only share the selected area of ​​the screen.

If it is very slow, then the size of the video window (in my case, onenote) can be reduced. The quality is still incomparably higher.
