Google has finally released its corporate javascript framework

It seems that not everyone understood what happened: instead of talking about the framework from Google, people turned their attention to the secondary thing - the Closure Compiler javascript code compressor .

But the Closure Library is nothing more than Google’s internal javascript framework, the components of which are used in Gmail, Google Docs and other web applications from G. And this is wonderful, my friends! After all, this is a framework from unsurpassed professionals in the development of popular web applications. Which implies the quality, stability and optimality of the code, uniformity of different parts of the framework.

So far, there has been only one such framework - YUI, Yahoo's corporate framework. Of course, YUI pleases with uniformity, excellent documentation, and components that are convenient for creating web applications. However, it always seemed strange to me that Yahoo, far from the leader in rich internet applications, published its libraries, and Google, the same company that simply forced browser developers to support everything with their Maps and Gmail, so we now have a bunch of 2.0 services , did not publish its javascript libraries for the benefit of simple developers.

And so it happened. Hooray, comrades!
