Kant gives a lecture to Russian officersIn one of the Kaliningrad museums you can see a picture where Kant gives a lecture to Russian officers. Not by philosophy, but by fortification or pyrotechnics. The artist saved the event, but the text of the lectures is unknown to us.

And what did Euler teach Petersburg students? What did Pavlov talk about in his classes? How did they listen to Mechnikov’s lectures at Odessa University, and Landau at Kharkov?

If in some miraculous way it was possible to make a video of these lectures, we would hardly have known what is not in modern textbooks, but the learning process itself would have become much more exciting. Indeed, in teaching, as in communication, it is important not only to be taught, but also how .

However, to film Kolmogorov’s public lectures in the assembly hall of Moscow State University in 1964-1977, supernatural possibilities were not required. Alas! This idea did not occur to anyone, and we lost the valuable opportunity to get knowledge from the "first hand" of not only a great scientist, but also a brilliant lecturer.

That is why we believe that it is unforgivable not to record the lectures of the best modern scientists and teachers on video. And, of course, everyone should have access to this information! We present you the educational video portal www.UniverTV.ru ! UniverTV.ru
