Skype 2.1 for Linux Beta

After a long lull, Skype finally updated the Linux version. You can download the beta for Skype for Linux desktop 2.1 from the site.

In the new version:

Support for the new SILK audio codec
High quality video support
PulseAudio Support
SMS sending (requires Skype Credit)
Contact Groups
Shortcuts / tags for more convenient organization of contacts
Improvements to the chat window (indication of the dialed answer, editing messages, etc.)
Improved mood / status and video contact list design
Improved tray icon =)
