Motorola sholes
Motorola has a tough time right now. Own platform based on Linux + Java (aka motomagx, ezx) is closed, despite its good potential. Now Motorola has turned its attention to Android, and plans to release a lot of devices based on it. And the first sign should be Motorola Sholes.

Several versions of the device are being prepared for release, this is the CDMA version, the 3G version, as well as the version without a QWERTY keyboard. Sholes should get Android version 2.0 codenamed Éclair. The first deliveries of the device are planned in October, the probability of the device appearing officially in Russia is not yet known.
Display: 3.7-inch touchscreen, resolution 854x480 pixels, display up to 16 million colors, physical size 45.72 mm by 81.34 mm.
Communications: USB2.0, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11g)
Camera: 5 MP with autofocus and flash
Weight: 169 g
Size: 60.00 x 115.80 x 13.70 mm
Memory: 512MB / 256MB (ROM / RAM), microSDHC card slot (up to 16 GB)
Talk time: 420 minutes
Standby time: 450 hours
Features: GPS, 8GB MicroSD included
So far, Shuls is classified, so his images are pretty few.

It is not known whether motorola will recycle the android interface (which is already good), whether special applications will be developed, but, mindful of Motorola’s very old experience with Linux (for example, Motorola A760, it’s over 5 years old!), I’m sure that the device should turn out to be busy. By the way, the headset jack is standard, minijack 3.5 mm.
