Advanced filtering in Google Analytics
In Google Analytics added advanced functionality for filtering criteria (events). You can filter the audience in a couple of clicks of the mouse, and all the standard Google Analytics tools are available for the filtered group. Interestingly, you can invent and create absolutely any events (for example, a filter by those who watched the video on the site, or by those who clicked on the advertisement).
Technically, it works like this. As soon as you create new unique criteria for filtering (event), a new code is generated for the counter and the system begins to register these events.
Examples of events and related code can be found here .
The guys from Google filmed a demo to show how this system now works.
