The developer, acting under the pseudonym NoSFeRaTU (2: 5019 / 40.1), announced the release of the next version of his build editor GoldED +, which was formerly called "NoSFeRaTU's GoldED +", and henceforth will be called GoldED-NSF for brevity .
Among the new products of this assembly, I want to draw your attention to those two that seem to me the most important.
Firstly, a transition via hyperlinks of theform “area: // ...” to messages of such Fidonet echoconferences that the user has not subscribed to is implemented : such messages are now retrieved via the Internet via an FGHI-compatible gate.
Secondly, it is possible to connect arbitrary handlers for any URL schemes or other text elements defined by regular expressions (POSIX and PCRE) - for example, phone numbers.
All this is a significant step forward in the progressive evolutionary development of the hypertext Fidonet.
