Hello to all connoisseurs of old iron, in this topic we will talk about the pseudo-netbook Intertan PPC10, released in 1991.
Intertan PPC10 - netbook, which was produced in the period from 1991-1992, was sold at a price of $ 595.
Initially, it was based on MS-DOS version 5.0 and software - Microsoft Works and RacePan.
Processor: V30-7.15MHz 16bit
RAM: 1024kB
2 * PCMCIA 1.0
OS: MS-DOS 5.0 in 512kB ROM
Software: MS-Works 2.0 and Race Pen II in 1.5 MB ROM
Amazingly small and light for that time - 4.5 "x 9.7" x 1.0 ", weight - 1.3 pounds (~ 600 grams). (Intertan PPC10 next to Nokia 7710 in the photo)
Monochrome LCD display has a resolution of 640x200 pixels, physical screen size - 2.75" x 7 ".
The netbook has a slot for PCMCIA cards, serial and parallel ports.
Power is supplied from two ordinary AA batteries.
