Get ready, humanity!

In October last year, NASA came across in space something completely inexplicable: our beloved and only universe is moving towards something, roughly speaking, huge. This phenomenon has been called the “black stream” and is a great example of a frightening and incomprehensible reality that awaits humanity in far space.

Many galaxies, known to us as the “universe,” swirl toward a “tiny” object in outer space. At least this is exactly what astrophysicist Alexander Kashlinsky wrote in October 2008in his rather controversial work. The essence of this phenomenon is that far in space (somewhere between Tatooine and the Earth) a clot of energy (or matter?) Found itself outside our current worldview. Which, among other things, attracts the entire visible universe at a speed of 600 km / s.

However, the term “observable universe” itself is something vast. While with the naked eye we can never see the far corners of this very universe, and as hell, scientists, as you know, do not believe that something is “there” anyway. And this “something” haunts astrophysicists. Kashlinsky is still studying the problem using data from the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP) five-year program. Launched in 2001, according to NASA, the project was “phenomenally successful” - it was thanks to the data obtained as a result of five years of research that the “Standard Cosmological Model” was developed.

Intrigue in this whole situation with the “center of the Universe” is also introduced by the fact that humanity has already received one very obvious proof that we are not alone in this space and time. Named “WOW! signal ”, it was a 72-second pulse recorded by Dr. Jerry Ehman on August 15, 1977. Since the unidentified signal almost exactly matched the parameters of the so-called "Artificial space", the first words of Dr. Eman at that second was nothing but an exclamation of "WOW!", Warcraft has nothing to do with it.

The main evidence that this signal was not a random pulse emitted from the Earth and reflected, say, from a satellite, is its length. Despite the fact that the signal itself practically does not contain (or cannot be decrypted) information, from the 72 seconds themselves something useful can still be extracted and, most likely, they are already working on it.

So, we come to the most interesting question - were these aliens? If a rocket launched from Earth and, theoretically, capable of reaching the speed of light, flies to the source of the signal, can it detect it there? There is no answer to these questions, because over the past 20 years, attempts to fix the same signal or something similar have not been successful, even though the level of technical equipment of the observatories has risen by an order of magnitude.

Dr. Kashlinsky and some other astronomers and physicists also hold the view that, theoretically, this signal could be the last trace of radiation from an extinct (already obviously extinct) race. Astronomer David Darling described in detail the conditions necessary to send a signal of such frequency and power to space - in principle, such technologies exist on Earth, such as the Arecibo radio telescope. But besides the plate itself, you need a 2.2-gigawatt transmitter - very powerful, but affordable for both humanity and another race.

Something in the universe screams very loudly and, oddly enough, we are able to “hear” it. In the words of Alan Kogut from the Goddard Space Center: “The Universe gave us a hint. Instead of a "fake" signal, which we have been waiting for decades, there was a deafening explosive noise. Six times stronger than anyone could have imagined. ”

Naturally, it is important to understand that in space there is no "sound" in the classical sense. What the NASA installation called ARCADE system received was actually a cosmic radio “background”, and its source remained unknown. Under normal conditions, radio telescopes are capable of catching a signal with a frequency of 10 MHz to 100 GHz coming from what modern astronomers call "radio galaxies." The funny thing is that according to existing models and theories, such a signal could not come from the point in space from which it came, since it "lacks radio galaxies capable of emitting such a signal."

As stated by NASA: "In order for such a radio background to come from a classic radio galaxy, they must be located as densely to each other as a herring in a bank." What, obviously, cannot be - the galaxies would collapse with a monstrous surge of energy that would no doubt be seen on our planet, but this did not happen.

Such stories convince scholars, and the public, that programs like Hubble should last as long as possible. On February 21, 2006, the aforementioned telescope discovered in space, without jokes, a “unidentified space object” in that space where there was nothing at all. 100 days after the first observation, the same thing happened. Moreover, over time, the object only became brighter, right up to the light from a supernova explosion without a supernova. What science was unable to explain - nothing like this has ever happened, either before or after.

However, before we even try to find the answers to all these questions, humanity must realize its actual insignificance in the universe. Take the Great Wall of Sloan as an example."- a huge space structure known to people.

    image
The huge wall of galaxies, extending 1.37 billion light-years from nose to tail, was discovered relatively recently - on October 20, 2003, by a duet of scientists from Princeton University: Richard Gott the Third and Mario Jurić (J. Richard Gott III and Mario Jurić). This huge array is at least one billion light-years from Earth.

It’s hard to imagine such a scale and this is exactly what I’m talking about. While our galaxy extends for approximately 100,000 light-years and about 1000 light-years thick in the center (where there is a huge black hole), the comparison of the Milky Way and the wall of Sloan is similar to the comparison of David and Goliath (without consequences, I would like hope). What I'm trying to convey to the whole attentive public is an obvious fact. If it’s difficult for David not to notice Goliath, then the reverse situation is much more than possible ... besides, in my purely subjective opinion, the possibility of a reasonable life form in conditions of denser planetary concentration is several times higher than our protein and, noticeably, fragile life .

Humanity, in any case, should get ready - there are still too many incomprehensible, interesting and, possibly, dangerous in the Universe.

PS Dear, the fact that the article does not pretend to be objective is obvious. I do not study as a physicist or astronomer, but as a manager. But even so, I do not consider it important and / or necessary to criticize every word, because the system of concepts / views / values accepted in the modern world seems ridiculous and, frankly, a little real. If you do not like what is written above - you can honestly put a minus in my karma, I will not be offended by
PPS Truth does not exist. Only what you believe is true. I believe in what is written above and, as I already wrote, if you do not like it, you can put a minus in my karma.
