Tags are a cool thing, if you use them correctly - go somewhere on delicious, choose your favorite topic and read to yourself. But on a blog, reading tags is not very convenient. And here's why: we read the posts of the first tag, everything is fine, we got to the last page. We pass to the second tag, and we feel some disappointment - half of the articles are repeated from the first tag.
Or the second option - we read all the articles in a row, and articles about the life of jerboas are not interesting to us.
The idea is that you can exclude from the list of all articles, articles marked with the tag "life of jerboas" and continue to enjoy reading.
