AdWords and old accounts

    I want to say thank you for your attention to user problems.


    The problem was this:

    Many companies (blogun, nic.ru, etc.) that carry out e-commerce together with google conduct joint actions to encourage new customers and in fact a little mess is created.

    At first I received a promotional coupon from nic.ru (in the amount of 1,400 rubles) and decided to activate it accordingly, which was rudely denied, that my account was very old and naturally satisfied with this denial, I settled down and continued to use AdWords as before.

    Then I receive a letter from the Moscow google office informing me that google AdWords gives me a promotional coupon in the amount of 1800 rubles. I decided to try this code as a sinful thing, thinking that they sent it to me as an old client, because the amount there is completely different from the previous one.

    In response, there was an unnatural rejection and the previous error that my account was too old to activate the gift code.

    Naturally, after some confusion, I decided to contact google AdWords support and wrote to them that I didn’t understand why I didn’t have to activate the code that was sent to me by mail from the Moscow office, I cited the data for the second invitation and received the following letter:

    Good afternoon, Alex !
    Thanks for your email to AdWords Support.
    When viewing your account, we found that you created your account on August 1, 2006.

    Preferential codes can be used within 14 days after creating an account. Since your account was created more than two weeks ago, the discount code you received no longer works.
    Unfortunately, this type of soft loan is granted only to new accounts. Therefore, AdWords specialists cannot currently offer you another loan.
    We thank you for your understanding and apologize for any possible inconvenience.

    And the following angry and annoyed letter was sent in response:

    Thank you very much, I will definitely register 100 more accounts to take advantage of your free offers.

    I believe that Google is simply mocking old customers. I draw a conclusion about some incompetence of your employees and the wrong algorithm sent out promotional codes.


    And having received another response from a Google employee, I made some conclusions for myself below.

    I sincerely apologize for the incorrect answer. I activated a promotional coupon in the amount of 1800 rubles. This sum is displayed on the Billing Summary page.
    You mentioned that you received 2 promo codes. Please note that you can apply one promotional coupon for one account.

    Summary: There

    are errors everywhere, it is impossible to fully automate the process of receiving reward codes, and here, in my opinion, the confusion occurred due to the fact that the Center sent my Google data for statistics, and they decided to make me happy again, without looking at the database that the account not young.
