Disk Write Copy was installed in the Presidential Library named after B.N. Yeltsin for the stable operation of reading rooms

Probably many have already heard about the opening of the Presidential Library in Russia, where all publications and documents are digitized and available not only to the presidents, but also to ordinary visitors.

The library is housed in the historic building of the Holy Governing Synod in St. Petersburg. The basis of the library is electronic publications, the main subject of which is the issues of Russian statehood.

The opening ceremony of the Presidential Library named after B.N. Yeltsin, led by Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev, took place on May 27, 2009.

Dmitry Medvedev: "We did not create this library for Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev and not for the future leaders of the Russian Federation, but to use it with a huge number of our citizens. Therefore, these electronic forms, the possibility of electronic access to the annals of the library, to its archives - all this must be done perfectly functioning . ”

It is especially pleasant that our system software Disk Write Copy was chosen as a means of stability of operating systems and installed on workstations in electronic reading rooms.

Due to this, the reading room computers will be reliably protected from failures and be in the set state every day, and the absence of inoperative terminals will allow the library to provide access to the maximum number of visitors.

Naturally, Disk Write Copy will protect not only the operating systems, but also the programs installed on them, with all the settings of system administrators.

Access to the library is by appointment.
